Frankly, 100 mpg is great. It's about getting the best efficiency from any fuel thats available on this planet. The intended fuel for developement is biodiesel, or any flex fuel, once wider adoption and an infrastructure are in place. This injection ignition technology can easily be used on a three cylinder engine of a future hybrid, which can make long trips at never heard of mpg's. The use of hydrogen, sunlight, and injection ignition technology will mean net zero carbon travel as closely as the next 30 years can produce. All ideas involving combustion aren't evil.
